Critical Illness Cover
Its aims
To provide a cash sum if you suffer one of a range of specified critical illnesses or undergo one of a range of specified operations and survive for at least 28 days during the term of the plan. The term is the number of years the plan will run.
To provide the option of including life cover benefit, which means that the cash sum would be payable on your death or suffering a critical illness.
Your commitment
You will need to make regular payments, normally each month by direct debit, until the end of the agreed term or until a claim is made on the plan.
